Looking at Secondhand Medical Equipment (written for Portable Ultrasound Machine)
Medical machines are critical to the operations of large hospitals, small clinics and home-based care environments. Users of such machines now have the option to buy brand new or secondhand models. If you are a small clinic, or providing home-based care, here are some things to think about when buying secondhand equipment.
Make a list of all the medical devices you need. You may consult with professionals on which are the best models to buy and attain an idea of the price range for each type of equipment you will need.
Choose a trustworthy supplier. Attain referrals from professionals and institutions that provide health care.
Inspect and test the model you want to buy purchase.
Be certain the model is sold with some form of guarantee. Secondary equipment may not have extensive warranty coverage but should at minimum have some form of protection.
